2016 Mazda CX-3 in Webster, TX

Get Ready for the Arrival of the Mazda CX-3


You may have noticed there is a new breed of crossover slowly being introduced onto the streets that is smaller than your typical crossover, also known as subcompact crossovers, a newly released segment. Not one to be out done, Mazda has introduced the all-new 2016 Mazda CX-3 in Webster, TX, which boasts excellent fuel economy, sport handling, a high-quality interior, and best of all, it’s fun to drive. Be first in line to take the 2016 CX-3 for a test drive when it hits our showroom floor this fall.

The newly announced 2016 Mazda CX-3 is a 5-passenger subcompact crossover that will come in three trim levels – Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring. It is equipped with a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine (like the one found in the Mazda3) that will generate 146 horsepower and 146 lbs.-ft. of torque. A 6-speed automatic transmission will also be available, and front-wheel-drive is standard, with all-wheel-drive as an option on each trim level. On top of this power, the CX-3 will also be fuel efficient as it gets an EPA-estimated 29/35 city/hwy MPG1 with front-wheel-drive and 27/32 city/hwy MPG1 with all-wheel-drive.

Where the 2016 Mazda CX-3 in Webster, TX, really stands out is inside. The dashboard is low and wide, with a standard 7-inch infotainment screen mounted high for easy access.


There’s also an iDrive-style controller in the center console that features a straight-forward interface that is hassle-free to use, so you stay focused on the road ahead. The rear-seats have the option to fold flat, giving you 44.5 cubic-ft. of storage space for a weekend adventure on Clear Lake or Trinity Bay. The interior also features Bluetooth® streaming for your phone and music player, cruise control, and a tilt-telescoping steering column. In addition to these great features, the 2016 Mazda CX-3 will offer a variety of safety elements that were designed to keep you and your four other passengers safe. One of these features is Lane Departure Warning3, which alerts you when it senses you’re drifting unintentionally from your current lane. The CX-3 will also have available Rear Cross Traffic Alert4, which lets you know if a vehicle is approaching from the side when you’re backing out of a parking space or your driveway. There's also Smart City Brake Support5, which helps minimize, or even prevent, frontal collisions when you’re driving between 2 and 18 MPH. This system will automatically apply your brakes if it determines a collision is unavoidable. Other safety features will include a rearview camera4, a blind spot monitor, and Mazda Radar Cruise Control6.
