Certified vs One-Owner Vehicles near Houston, TX
Used vehicles are separate from new rides, but examining the former autos closely will reveal one-owner and certified pre-owned sets of wheels. These two subcategories include autos that are each spectacular. Acquire a loan to buy either ride at DeMontrond Mazda.
One-Owner Automobiles
Beginning with discussing one-owner vehicles, these autos each had no more than a single titleholder. A common reason why these rides are in this condition is due to the fact that they were leased previously. In case you are not well-versed with the terms of this contract, it gives the individual a short time window to travel on I-10. So, the interior and exterior may not appear as tattered or worn down as it would if it were belonging to various title holders. Along with the advantage of using amenities that may have been hardly damaged, the records behind the auto will be listed in the CARFAX® Vehicle History Report™ for you to have no uncertainty of your driving experience.
Certified Automobiles
Your certified used Mazda auto has been adopted into the Mazda Certified Pre-Owned program, which benefits you as the driver. The ride will be in a mechanically healthy state after it had experienced a 160-point inspection. You as the owner are assisted with the financial responsibility of covering the services of your set of wheels. Have the 12-Month/12,000-Mile CPO Vehicle Limited Warranty1 that gives you the financial capability to afford maintenance over your auto’s engine. If you’re asking what other types of coverage plans are out there, find joy in utilizing the 7-Year/100,000-mile Limited Powertrain Warranty2. No matter what type of auto you have, you may run into an issue on the road that requires extra help. So, the 24-Hour Emergency Roadside Assistance will leave you feeling brave to travel at night, since you'll have reassurance in finding aid and you won't be searching for help yourself while stranded.
Which Vehicle Should I Select?
Feeling uneasy about picking one type of ride or the other can be mentally taxing. That is why we’ll provide you with some tips to think about. If you’re aiming to keep the price of your car ownership as low as possible, then a one-owner set of wheels may be what you need for I-45 travels in and out of Houston. As for certified rides, the cost could be more steep comparitively speaking. If you travel frequently, then a certified set of wheels' Roadside Assistance may be exactly what you require for certain emergencies. But, if you're still having difficulties weighing all pros and cons, call our phone number to ask for input from the team!

Testimonials
“ Excellent service from start to finish. Daniel was an outstanding service advisor — professional, knowledgeable, and very communicative throughout the entire process. He explained everything clearly, kept me updated, and made the whole experience stress-free. The dealership was efficient and honest, and my vehicle was ready when promised. Highly recommend this dealership and definitely ask for Daniel if you want top-tier service. ”
“ James provided exceptional customer service, and he met all the requirements needed for my vehicle. I will definitely be returning for all my future services. ”
“ I have been taking my Mazda B2300 truck to DeMontrond for service for several years now. The service has always been exceptional! I can't thank the Servce Department enough for how well they take care of my vehicle and me! Highly recommend them. And an extra shout out to James McKellar! ”
“ I had my car serviced yesterday and had the best experience with Christopher Branch!! Not only was serviced great, but to seat and wait in a clean waiting area was top notch. ”
“ Daniel was an excellent service advisor. He was clear, honest, and kept me updated throughout the entire process. Everything was explained well and the service was smooth. Highly recommend working with him. ”
“ Great experience with Daniel as my service advisor. Professional, knowledgeable, and communicative from start to finish. Made the repair process easy and transparent. ”
“ Chris Branch ALWAYS provide me with outstanding customer service! ”
“ I had another great experience at the Mazda service department, and once again it’s because of Chris Branch. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 He’s been my service advisor for the past 5 years ‼️And I’ve genuinely followed him to every dealership he’s moved to because the level of service he provides is unmatched. He is always honest, professional, and makes the entire process smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find someone you trust this much in a service department, and he consistently goes above and beyond. HIGHLY RECOMMEND asking for Chris if you want the best experience. ”
“ Christopher Branch is very professional and knowledgeable. He made my experience comfortable and easy. I will be back! ”
“ After visiting several dealerships with no success, we finally found exactly what we needed here. Toby made our experience incredibly pleasant; he is exceptionally knowledgeable and knows the Mazda lineup inside and out. His genuine enthusiasm for the vehicles was contagious, and it's clear he is a professional who truly stands behind the Mazda brand. I would highly recommend Demontrond and Toby for sales!!! ”
“ Purchased a car on 12/13, went with the intent of just browsing the lot but, Marco greeted us as soon as we started walking through it. He was an excellent help and has been very responsive to any questions I had about the CX9 I purchased. Some of the reviews made me question going to this location but, I had a great experience. If I purchase another vehicle in the future I will be sure to come back here! ”
“ Nurun is the guy! ”
“ Came by to look at Miatas and ended up talking to Toby, who saw me looking at the showroom manual and offered to teach me how to drive it. At the end of the day, we left in a 2025 manual and got some great help getting home. Manual lessons were great, no pressure to buy, and honestly the best car buying experience I've had. Now I'm enjoying my first manual and wouldn't go back. Thanks Toby! ”
“ I went to this DeMontrond for an oil change. Let me tell you, Daniel V. was an amazing person, he answered and explained all my questions. The service there was excellent, I don’t drive a Mazda, but I will definitely be taking my car there from now on!! Oh and the guy who drove my car up was a sweet, awesome dude!! Sorry, I didn’t get your name, but he had curly hair, faded on the sides.. Plus, they send you a video of the tech working on your car!! DeMontrond in Texas City, could never!!!! 👏🏽 ”
“ Just bought a pick up from Mr. Froisy and the interaction was excellent through and through. Will definitely be referring friends and family his way. ”
“ Nurun made my car buying process such an ease!! He found me my new car (with desired budget, mileage, amenities, etc) in less than 10 minutes and it is my absolute favorite car ever!! Ask for Nurun!!! ”
I have bought several cars in my life, but never as
“ I have bought several cars in my life, but never as comfortable an experience as this one. Josue was very kind as well as informative. No high pressure, and very accommodating. I highly recommend this dealership, and ask for Josue! ”
“ Love dealership as a customer more accepted from me!!!😊 ”
“ This location provides exceptional service and amazing offers. Josue is hands down the most knowledgeable and patient sales associate we’ve EVER worked with. We’ve referred 2 family members to him already and consistently praise him to anyone who shares interest in a new car. Really pleased to be a new member of the Mazda family. ”
“ "What an incredible and professional experience we had at DeMontrond Mazda of Clear Lake. From the sales rep (Karol) to the director (Jason) to the finance office (Oscar), smooth operation. Never felt pressured to decide on the spot. Karol was patient (very patient) with me and my current situation. She knew that I was looking for the right car at the right price. Jason came over and added what essentially was the cherry on the top. Oscar gave us all the ins and outs, clearly showing us our options. Professionally made sure that we were taken care of, and we appreciate that. Thank you to the team for surprising me with more than I asked when I arrived to pick up the car! I highly highly recommend this amazing dealership to anyone looking for a new or used car. Did I mention they are the only dealership with the forever warranty?!!!" ”
“ Excellent Service Department – Highly Recommend! I had a fantastic experience with the service department! From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, professional, and attentive. Always go here for oil changes and they are fast. Big thank you to Austin, who is always so helpful. They took the time to explain what my husband’s truck needed and gave me clear estimates upfront—no surprises or unnecessary add-ons. The technicians did an outstanding job; my husband’s truck runs smoother than it has in years. What really stood out was the communication. I received timely updates throughout the day, and the car was ready exactly when promised. The waiting area was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with coffee and water, which made the short wait easy. It’s rare to find a service department that’s both honest and efficient, but this team truly delivers. I’ll definitely be coming back for all my future maintenance and repairs. ”
“ Great experience first time here. They have free drinks for customers. ”
“ The mechanics here are the only people I trust to work on my vehicle after numerous negative interactions at other shops. I have never had a more professional experience than my interactions here. ”
“ Friendly service can be quick at times always worth the wait. ”
“ After the greatest car buying experience I’ve received I have to come on here and give a big shout out and thank you to Kenny Froisey! Kenny made the whole process smooth and easy. He’s very professional honest and real easy to deal with. I honestly felt like I knew him for a while when I just meet him which is a good thing. Never was he pushy or rude. This man is class act and good representation of what a good car salesman is! 👏🏻Definitely buying my future vehicles from him ”
“ I just got my first car from them on Thursday, Mr.Beg was an incredible salesman and helped answer all the questions I had about different models.George in management and Mario in finance provided me with additional help and gave me a price I was satisfied with. Overall the entire team made my experience very easy. ”
“ Austin, the service manager, worked with me to get my key fob issues equitably resolved. Christopher Branch at the service counter went the extra mile and gave me a couple of invaluable tips to prevent their recurrence down the road (😆), as well as taking very considerate care of me today and making sure I was good with everything. ”
Contacted me to buy an extended warranty when I already
“ Contacted me to buy an extended warranty when I already bought one at purchase and won’t take responsibility for their mistake. They refunded my payments but Oscar Villarreal promised to return my call last week but never has. I bought my last two cars there. If they can’t own up to this mistake, how can I trust them in the future? I can’t. No honesty. No integrity. ”
“ Went in to see about a used car advertised across all the major sale sites, only to be told the price was suddenly $1,000 higher because the price they use to manipulate their listings in the search results or to give them a rating of "Great Deal" when a site like AutoTrader is hooked into an automatic number check with KBB, is only "if you finance with one of their lenders". Yeah, don't remember seeing that on any of the sales sites, and I'm a fine print kinda guy. OK, fine, everything is an algorithm or a stack rank now and they're just playing the game everyone is playing. I don't like wasting my time on a bait and switch though. Made what I thought was a good cash+trade offer anyway only to watch them laughably undervalue my baby and pile on thousands in additional fees for the final price. I walked out rather than waste any more time. Their car is still rotting on the lot, deceptively advertised. How about some service for my current Mazda? Got 2 scheduled fluid changes at advertised/posted prices as a little test for them, only for the bill to be 20% higher at checkout. "Shop fees". Buy a lot of new tooling for those routine fluid changes you do every day, did ya? Have to bring in a specialist to pour that brake fluid? Professor Radiator Coolant have to be flown in? They also helpfully gave me a thorough inspection of "things we can charge a lot of money for" and suggested about $4,000 in fixes for a car that runs like a top, drips not a drop, and has barely 50K on it. My favorite were the "shock replacements". They make a rattling noise. The noise is a $17/side dust cover that has just separated from a boot. There is otherwise nothing wrong with the shocks. No sag, bounce, rock, sled, lean, uneven wear, or any other indication that at 50K miles Mazda shocks driven on good paved roads have suddenly returned to the arms of the blessed lord. Dust covers. 35 bucks online. Their suggested fix? $1,000 replacement, $100+ alignment. The rest was equally silly. Look if you're looking for peace and justice and you're at a car dealership, rethink some choices in your life, but this joint is just all the old, bad stereotypes writ large. A 1* would seem like I'm an irrational lunatic with an axe to grind- I'm not. I'm just a guy who likes cars, my car, knows a thing or two, and doesn't like having his crank yanked with an extra surcharge at the end. The people I think about are the single moms, the grandmothers, the folks who are scared of a wrench and shell out these ridiculous amounts because they successfully scare them. That's what riles me up. There's one service tech who, despite the charges the front desk tried to hit me with, is an alright guy, so extra *. I don't believe there's any changing the culture here, so unless I have a recall or something, I'll be absolutely minimizing my business done with them in the future. ”
“ I purchased a used vehicle the last week in October 2025. My sales person was Karol, she really didn't have to work that hard because I had ALREADY made up my mind on the type of vehicle I wanted. AFTER the purchase I attempted to call Karol a couple of times because I had questions⁉️ but I ALWAYS had to leave a message and she NEVER called me back 😔. On Monday December 8, 2025 I attempted to contact her AGAIN with the SAME OUTCOME "NO ANSWER, NO RETURN CALL" Wednesday December 10, 2025 at approximately 9am the dealership called me, I'm thinking it was Karol but it was the lady at the front desk calling to let me know my registration sticker had come in, so I explained to her what I have been trying to ask my sales person Karol "how can I get a spare key for my vehicle since I wasn't given one at time of purchase and I am having a hard time getting Karol to call me back⁉️ I was told she would relay the message to a manager and have them call me back‼️about 1:30pm I RECEIVED A TEXT, NOT A CALL BUT A TEXT‼️saying your car only came with one key, I didn't know who sent me the text, so I asked "who it was"⁉️ she told me it was Karol, and I could call another department and tell them I LOST MY SPARE KEY AND SEE IF THEY WOULD REPLACE IT‼️😱 I said so you want me to LIE⁉️ I feel like since you were the sales person and received the commission, you should be able to do that⁉️she told me "No" a different department handle that. EVERY used vehicle I have purchased ALWAYS came with a spare key, if not the sales person ALWAYS made sure one was made "FREE OF CHARGE" we decided, since I had to go pick up my registration sticker I could talk to a manager, ok I explained to her I was on my way and who should I ask for, she told me "AK" to my surprise HE WAS NOT EVEN IN THE BUILDING‼️The lady at the front desk wrote my name and phone number down and told me she was texting him as well speak to call me. I texted Karol and told her "AK" is not even in the building, she had me thinking he knew I was coming⁉️she text me back saying, HE WAS OUT TO LUNCH‼️ and he would call me, well today is Friday December 12, 2025 and the manager "AK" or Karol have tried to contact me‼️ MAKE SURE YOU ASK ALL THE QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT COMES WITH YOUR USED VEHICLE WITH DEMONTROND MAZA, BECAUSE ONCE THEY GET YOUR MONEY, YOU MEAN "NOTHING" TO THEM‼️ ☆☆☆UPDATE ☆☆☆ I RECEIVED A CALL THIS MORNING....DECEMBER 15, 2025 AT 9AM FROM AUSTIN RUSSELL (SERVICE MANAGER) WHO SAID HE SAW MY REVIEW AND WANTED TO MAKE MY SITUATION RIGHT‼️WE SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT FOR ME TO COME IN TODAYAND GET A SPARE KEY FOR MY VEHICLE, I AM HAPPY TO SAY "I DROVE AWAY A COUPLE HOURS LATER WITH MY SPARE KEY" I APPRECIATE HOW FAST YOU HANDLED MY SITUATION AUSTIN, THANK YOU SO MUCH‼️ ”
“ My sales person was surprisingly arrogant and insulting for a person telling me he has to, "...do my job or I don't get to eat". He went on to say, " It is a privilege to work with me and I am sorry you have lost that privilege". He further stated something about how he is open minded and understands others perspective which made no sense within the context of his text message as he was refusing to acknowledge my perspective of being annoyed with the unwanted contact. Will I be buying a car from you after all that? If you think its doubtful, that's correct. I will not be buying a car from you. ”
“ The same day I took my new car home I discovered the windshield wiper fluid didn’t work…took the car back immediately the next day. They told me a rodent had chewed through the wiring and it needed replaced. Tried to get me to pay for it…a car I bought less than 24 hours prior from their dealership. Obviously the car had rodents in it as it sat in their lot. Fast forward, I get a check engine light for an engine malfunction…I take my car in the same day…they tell me a rodent has chewed through the wire harness and want me to pay almost $7000 to replace it. A BRAND NEW CAR!!! And they just keep denying over and over again that the rodents came from their lot. How does a nest of rodents get in and chew through wiring before I even make it home from the lot I just bought the car on?!?!?! Extremely disappointed! No accountability on their end. Would not recommend buying from them!!! ”
“ Marco was initially helping me, but when I tried asking questions about pricing and add ons, he ghosted me. I contacted James the used car manager and he was quite rude and unhelpful. I had pre approved financing and rather than answer my questions he was concerned about funding process when I hadn’t even looked at the vehicle or agreed on the price. Spoke to me like I was stupid and spoke over me and I did not appreciate it. At this point I was no longer interested in purchasing ANY vehicle from this dealership. I wanted OTD price estimate before coming in to look at the vehicle, but couldn’t get past purchase funding which I already had secured. Customer service seems to be a dead art these days. Very unfortunate experience. Would not recommend this dealership. I would give zero stars if possible. ”
“ Dropped off my CX-90 for a recall issue. Got a call 2 days later that their security guard fell asleep at the wheel and hit my car. Was told damage was “extremely minor.” It’s been 2 months and I still don’t have an update on my car. I have had no specifics on the damage. Horrible communication from the “management team” here. Both the service manager and the GM here have ignored emails and calls from my wife and I. Absolutely horrible experience here. Don’t not buy a car from here ”
“ Unfortunately, my experience with this company has been very disappointing. I was promised a replacement key the day after purchasing my vehicle, and here I am three months later with no key and no vehicle tags or documentation. Communication has been poor, I was given incorrect address information by the front desk, and then transferred without resolution. The lack of accountability and customer care made this unnecessarily stressful, especially given the cost of the vehicle. ”
“ Absolute incompetence. Think twice before buying a car from them. The cars are nice until you need maintenence work. My son took his car in 3 times to try to get the same thing fixed and NOTHING CHANGED. Except they said they found an unrelated bearing problem (probably could have waited a couple of years) and charged him 6k+! He had to take a loan out with them to make monthly payments on bearings that probably didn't need it. INCOMPETENCE AND PREDATORY.. Bottom line, my son who is responsible for keeping a good car for my wonderful grandson, is stuck with a huge predatory loan and a.car that was never fixed. Is this the kind of experience you want? Think hard. ”
“ If i can give them zero i would, dropped off a vehicle to get fixed, they misdiagnosed the problem twice … they never answer their phone, zero communication, never called me with any updates, one of the service advisors (james )extremely rude and unprofessional…. Very unhappy with the experience ”
“ I purchased my 2014 Mazda 3 s Grand Touring back in 2013 from this dealership (was then Clear Lake Mazda) and have been, almost exclusively, bringing my car to them for maintenance and repair services. I can firmly say that I've given this service department all benefit of the doubt and every chance to provide a basic level of service over the last decade. This has to be the most incompetent service department I've dealt with. And incompetence always starts at the top. Which means, whomever is hiring and managing the service department needs to have their performance and employment reviewed and ultimately, terminated. Now the REAL question is, who hired THAT person to begin with. Incompetent people hire incompetent people. I'm convinced that the owner of this dealership has no interest in cars. Knows nothing about cars. Knows nothing about how a car dealership should operate. Knows nothing about how a business should operate. They merely invest their money and expect a return on that investment, at all costs. I'm sure that comes as no surprise to anyone in The Big 2026 in America. Based on the other reviews; this is a classic bait and switch con job. Invest heavily into the front end Sales Department and completely ignore the back end Service Department. Once they have made their initial vehicle sale, who cares about YOU. You're on your own. We deal with this sorta thing across multiple industries as a consumer/customer. Every single time, I regret bringing it in. Every single time, the repair or maintenance is done incorrectly. I have NEVER brought my car into their service and have it come out, at the very LEAST, the same it was when it came in. It ALWAYS comes out WORSE. If they break or lose something while repairing something else, they never repair what they broke or lost. There's always loose bolts, or something not seated properly, after basic oil changes and fluid changes. If they have to touch anything on your car, I guarantee something will be missing. Whether it's a small piece of plastic that covers something or a screw or a tab or whatever. I just recently took my Mazda 3 in to have the xenon HID headlight bulbs replaced. Passenger side bulb is not seated properly after their service department replaced them. They cannot even replace headlight bulbs correctly. For anyone wondering, it's nearly impossible to change your own bulbs without popping the front wheels and wheel liner off. You can't just do it from under the hood, like a reasonable car layout. Nearly all modern vehicles are like this now. So you can do it on your own, it's just highly inconvenient. Now, anyone willing to pay the labor costs for convenience would expect the work to be completed properly. I feel like I'm paying money for inconvenience. The mechanics are NOT verifying their work. And I understand mistakes happen. We're all human. So, why is there not a Supervisor that verifies the mechanic's work? Why is it so difficult to treat your customer's vehicles with care and respect? Why are you not treating your customer's vehicles as if they are your own vehicles? I've owned vehicles across various brands, imports and domestics. Mazda, Ford, GM and BMW. None of their Service Departments have been acceptable either. This is definitely a systemic dealership problem. Is it an unrealistic expectation of a dealership, to want your vehicle to be, and hear me out, BETTER than what it was before it went in for service? I empathize with the general employees, because I know they are underpaid and overworked. Most of us are too. That doesn't give you an excuse to do the worst possible job you can. I'm spending my hard-earned, underpaid money for service. Provide it. Don't make MY life even MORE miserable than it has to be. My next vehicle purchase will be based entirely on service and service only. Because that's what REALLY counts after purchase. My Mazda has been incredibly reliable and why I bought it, but it still requires service. And Mazda dealerships have been terrible. DeMontrond Mazda easily stands out as one of the worst. ”
“ Closest Mazda dealer to me. I use their service department all the time for my vehicles (2016 Mazda 6, 2022 Mazda CX5) and zero issues there. My issue is with the sales department. Recently I was looking at several three row SUV and we finally decided in a CPO CX9. We were working with Josue and Mo and we did not really had any issues with them. They were attentive and very helpful. On two different days we looked at vehicles and finally found the one but it was a bit overpriced. I tried to work with Mo on the numbers but after he spoke to his manager (do not remember the name) I was told that the CX9 was priced to sell, that there were no other like it in 1000 miles and that he could not remove the Dealer Services because "by law" everybody had to buy them. What? By the way, those services are key replacement, paint protection and something else. Stuff that is not even installed in the vehicle, so why would I pay for a service that I do not intend to use? Makes no sense at all, but according to the manager he also had to pay for it when he bought his vehicle... Got scammed if you ask me. I confronted the manager about those services not making sense to pay for them but he was adamant that they could not be removed. Cool. But the one installed item, the tint, he did remove. So he could remove something that was actually installed in the vehicle but not their services? We walked, as at the time we were also considering a Subaru with a great deal. The same day I found a CX9, same year, same trim, same color, CPO, 20k less miles and only $500 more sales price but it was in the Fort Worth area. I called their sales dept first thing when they opened and after working numbers we agreed at only $400 more OTD price than what Demontrond offered me. Their vehicle had a clear CARFAX and Demontrond's showed minor damage, and again, 20k less miles. It made a lot more sense to go with the least used vehicle for practically the same price. Even after getting those numbers I sent them to Josue trying to work something out but numbers did not change and I was only offered their maintenance care package ($150). I was then told that they were going to let management look into the deal but a week passed and nobody reached out. Hiley Mazda removed more than $2.5k in add ons right away, no questions asked, and never pressured me into buying anything extra. When I made the trip to pick up the vehicle and I inspected it, there were a couple very minor issues that I could not see in the pictures, but after I told them, the salesperson and the manager right away fixed them for me and gave me the items missing. Their finance person never tried to sell me anything extra and I was in and out really quick. (Demontrond $32,933; Hiley $33,350). Unfortunately this is the closes Mazda dealer to me, and I will continue using their service department, but will never return to their sales team, especially the manager with his "mandatory" fees. Demontrond joins Russell & Smith Mazda and Parkway Mazda to the dealers I will not purchase from for trying to scam people with their fees and not honoring their specials/incentives, and just their shady way of doing business. I much rather make the trip to do business with Hiley, it was well worth it. ”
“ I do not recommend this place. I waited over 3 hours just for an oil change. I have been a loyal customer since 2020, but this was the final straw. Someone eventually came out to apologize for the long wait, and it was very obvious that they did not start working on my car until almost two hours after I arrived. What made this experience even more disappointing is that the manager, Austin Russell, never apologized, even though this is not the first time this has happened. I have always paid for all my services here, but they clearly make no effort to improve their service or retain loyal customers. I am extremely disappointed. I strongly urge people NOT to come here for oil changes or any kind of service. At some point, you will likely leave just as disappointed as I did. ”
“ Dear Jorge(Sales Manager) you had told me and my wife that the 2024 CX90 with 24k miles was a premium customer that purchased this vehicle back in 2023 from your lot and that the reason it was on your lot was that you as a dealership you reached out to these customers that bought from your dealership in recent years that new offers from Mazda were available and this SUV was brought in an Traded for a New CX90. During my ride along I asked your salesman if he could tell me where this vehicle was purchased and WELL SIR you are a LIAR, the vehicle was purchased in Dearborn Michigan (a lot of salty ROADS during Winter)and it was never sold by your dealership. It really smells from apparently engine work and I am disappointed in your back and forth on trying to make a deal. I will never buy from your dealership but I do like DeMondtrond especially at other locations. Those dealerships had a truthful game plan on not to Lie about a push purchase. MAZDA DESERVES A LOT BETTER 4SURE….. ”
“ If I could give this dealership zero stars, I absolutely would. Do not buy a car from this dealership. They do not take customer service seriously, and I am now paying for the mistake of trusting them. I test drove the car and immediately noticed an issue with my wheels. I informed the sales rep, and he assured me they would take care of it. During the buying process, the manager Jason actually told me to go buy the car somewhere else because it was supposedly about to be sold to another dealership. I could not believe a manager would speak to a customer that way. The only reason I went through with the purchase was because the sales rep called me later, apologized, and said he had spoken with the general manager and would take care of me. The problems continued from there. The finance guy was rude and acted like he did not want to help me. When I got into the car before even leaving the lot, the same issue I reported was still there. I called the sales rep immediately, but he did not answer. I contacted the general manager, and he told me my bank had to pay for the car or whatever before they would even look at the car. I waited four weeks for them to have a loaner vehicle available. When they finally did, the loaner was dirty. I dropped my car off on October 15. It is now November 25, and I still do not have my car or any real update. I have called many times, and they always say they will call back, but they never do. I supposedly have a service advisor named Josue, but he has never communicated with me at all. Every time I call the service department, no one wants to help, and they rarely answer the phone. This is completely unacceptable customer service. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating. I am paying for a car that I do not even have in my possession. Even from the beginning, when I first called about the car, the sales rep answered the phone by saying “What,” which is completely unprofessional. As a manager myself, customer service is my priority, and what I have experienced here is a complete failure. Save yourself the stress. Do not buy a car from this dealership. Take your business somewhere else. They will waste your time just like they are wasting mine. ”
“ Came to the dealer today. Josue is the salesperson, a very nice and patient person. However, not the manager, Jason (whose name I’m not sure because he didn't wear a name tag), who was very rude. He lectured me about tariffs because I had tried to negotiate the price. So, customers have to accept whatever price y’all give?? His attitude is unbelievable, I walked out immediately. ”
“ When I first arrived, everything seemed to go well. My car was diagnosed fairly quickly, and I thought the process was going to be smooth. Unfortunately, everything after that went downhill fast. They gave me a service loaner, which I appreciated, but the loaner process itself was sloppy. No walk-around inspection was done, even after I specifically asked for one. The employee told me it was fine and to just take the car. When I got in, the tank was only half full even though the loaner agreement said it should have been full. Not a huge deal, but in hindsight, that should’ve been a red flag. After they told me my vehicle needed a new transmission (which is ridiculous for a car not even a year old), they wanted me to bring back the loaner and drive my own car with a busted transmission because the new one would “take a while” to arrive. The service manager even said he didn’t want me putting miles on “his” loaner. That statement alone says a lot about their priorities. Thankfully, I contacted my brother, who’s a Service Director for a Mazda dealership in Florida, and he reached out to Mazda’s regional representative. Magically, a transmission that was supposedly going to take months to arrive showed up in a couple of weeks. When I got an update video from Demontrond Mazda, it was literally a black screen with background music. Completely pointless. When I went to pick up my car, I reviewed my paperwork carefully since it was a major warranty repair. I noticed my email address had been removed from the repair order, likely to prevent me from getting Mazda’s survey and leaving an honest review. I asked for a copy of the paperwork to be emailed to me anyway, but of course, I’ve yet to receive anything. Overall, this was nowhere near acceptable service. I’ve worked with plenty of dealerships, and this experience was by far the worst. I’ll absolutely be taking my car elsewhere for all future service, even for the smallest maintenance. ”
“ NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE!!! I left my Toyota Rav 4 to them for service, something that should’ve taken a day or two at max and it’s been two weeks and there’s no communication, no update, no call to say they’ll be keeping it longer. The guy that does the interior work didn’t show up at all so they kept my car, it’s been two weeks and still no update and NO ONE answers the phone !! ”
“ The worst customer service ever. They only want to sell you a car. If anything goes wrong, do not expect to get any help. I have left many voice mail messages for the service department but no one will ever call you back. DO NOT BUY A CARE FROM THEM!!!! ”
